I never knew Mike but wish I had. I get the feeling Mike would stop in the pouring rain to help me fix a flat and put a smile on my face. And when I was back on the road I would feel like it was a wonderful thing that I flatted. Because it gave me the opportunity to meet Mike. Even for a moment.
