I am an avid cyclist and overall fitness fanatic, and at 39 yrs old had a heart attack this past March 16th.  So Mike’s story obviously hits home with me, and when I read his story my jaw hit the floor and I was just stunned.  I sat completely numb for a moment and even cried.  I ask why this has to happen to people like Mike and even me when I see people destroying their lives with drugs, alcohol, nicotine, and even food.

Mike’s story touched me because it could have been and still could be me.  Mike’s story also taught me to be thankful for my family and friends, and he will enter my mind every time my day gets rough or things just don’t go my way.  His personality came through the words of the article, and although my ultimate goal is to live like Jesus Christ…. I will also give it my best to live like Mike.  God’s peace to Mike and his family.

Ride on Mike!
